OUR
SERVICES
We offer consultations for both chronic and acute concerns.

AN
INITIAL VISIT is usually
between 1.5 and 2 hours in length and we prefer to take
health histories in person during this time. We do not
do physical examinations; our time together will be
spent learning about you and your unique set of circumstances.
For some people, especially children, this initial visit
may be too long. We can continue to gather further information
and complete the consult over the phone.
Our offices are both child and adult friendly. |
In addition to information about your primary concerns, we
will need to know a lot about you in general. This is important
and may be decisive when choosing the remedy. We will ask
questions such as: How vital and energetic do you feel? How
does your sense of well-being (not any particular symptom)
change as a result of environmental or emotional factors?
How are you affected, in general, by temperature, weather,
time of day, activity level, eating and sleeping? What makes
you feel better or worse? You may find that many of the questions
we ask are different than those generally asked by your primary
care doctor.
After we gather all of the information from our initial interview,
we study your case. During this time, we may call you for
clarification or with more questions. We encourage you to
call us with information that may be recalled after the interview
. Because we find that two perspectives often provide a broader
view, Miriam and Mary consult with each other on most of our
individual cases. We routinely ask for your permission to
do so and of course, all client information is kept confidential.
We will call you back, usually within 2-5 days, with a recommendation
of a remedy and a suggested way to take this remedy. We will
supply most remedies to you and they are almost always included
in the consultation fee. At this time, we will also schedule
a follow up appointment.

FOLLOW
UP APPOINTMENTS are
usually set for 3 to 6 weeks after beginning a remedy.
At this time we will assess the action of the remedy
and recommend a next course of action. Follow up appointments
are vital to assessing your progress and are generally
between 30 and 45 minutes in length. |
ACUTE CARE APPOINTMENTS can be scheduled as
the need for them arises. Some examples of acute conditions
are colds and flu's, ear infections, coughs, food poisoning,
poison oak, and muscle strains. Same day acute care visits
are usually available either by phone or in the office. Remedy
recommendations will be offered at the conclusion of this
consultation.
PHONE CONSULTATIONS AND APPOINTMENTS
will be charged the standard follow up rate.
MISSED APPOINTMENTS OR CANCELLATIONS
We ask that you please call 24 hours in advance to cancel
or change appointments. Missed appointments may be charged
the normal fee.
